A licensed plumber and an excavator on one team means we dig precisely where the fault is, repair it correctly, and reinstate the surface — instead of trenching the whole yard.
For easement work and jobs under existing structures we use the compact excavator or the C85 T5 tracked dumper to keep disturbance to a minimum.
The diagnosis is what saves the yard.
Sewer work is usually split between two trades: one to work out what the pipe is doing, another to open the ground. When the digging and the diagnosis sit with different people, the excavation gets sized to the uncertainty rather than to the fault — and on a sewer job the repair is rarely the big number. Putting the surface back is.
We do both halves. Plumbing is our trade and the excavators are ours, so it's one crew on one visit: the pipe gets diagnosed, the ground gets opened where the fault actually is, the repair is done by the person who diagnosed it, and the surface goes back.
The usual culprits are roots through a joint, a cracked earthenware section, a collapsed run, or a junction that was never right to begin with — and each wants a different repair, which is why we camera-locate before anything is dug. On a shared easement it also means coordinating with the other owner and, depending on what the line runs to, Sydney Water. We'll tell you who has to agree to what before it starts.
