The right machine for the site — not the biggest one we own.
From new footings for an extension to whole-yard cuts for landscaping, we bring the right machine for the site — the 5.5-tonne excavator where there's room to work, the 1.7-tonne unit where access is tight.
Sending an oversized excavator to a site it can't work on efficiently is how jobs blow budget. We match the machine to the access, the volume and the ground.
Both our excavators run jackhammer attachments, so sandstone and rock don't turn into a surprise variation.

Machine size is a decision, not a default.
An oversized excavator on a site it can't manoeuvre in burns hours, and so does an undersized one moving volume it was never meant to shift. The choice comes out of three things: the access, how much has to move, and what's in the ground.
Sydney ground isn't one thing. Sand through the Eastern Suburbs, clay across the Hills, and sandstone almost anywhere it feels like being. What's under the surface changes the machine, the hours and sometimes the method, which is why the site visit isn't a formality.
Before the bucket goes in we work out where the sewer, water and stormwater runs are — and if something has to be moved, capped or reconnected, that's our trade too. Plumbing is not a line on our CV, it is half of what we do, which is why the services under a block are a plan rather than a surprise.
