Trade-trained, built for the ground.
Tight-access excavation, civil works and licensed plumbing across Sydney, with twenty-five years in the trade behind every job.
A licensed plumber's eye, applied to the ground.
Twenty-five years in the trade, across residential, commercial and industrial work — from high-end homes between Vaucluse and Byron Bay to civil works at Narellan Police Station and a residential extension at Stanhope Gardens.
Classic Plumbing & Excavations has run out of Parramatta since 2012. The work sits across two sides of the one trade: excavation and civil works — footings, stormwater, detention tanks, retaining walls — and the licensed plumbing that goes with them, including sewer repairs and drainage.
What we've built the business around is the difficult end of that: tight sites, awkward access, and the jobs where the drainage detail decides whether the work lasts.
Done properly the first time. That's the whole business.
The dig and the drainage, managed by the same trade.
On most sites the digging and the pipework are two different contractors, and the drainage detail is what gets lost between them. Plumbing is our trade and the machines are ours, so the stormwater, the detention tank and the sewer connection are planned before anything is dug — and we're the ones who install them. One crew, one program of works.
- Excavation of footings and landscaped areas
- On-site detention tanks and retaining walls
- Sewer junction repairs and stormwater easements
- Tight-access work in residential backyards and narrow easements
Owned outright, sized for the sites others turn down.
Every machine below is ours. The 820mm dumper is the reason we can quote a backyard that a standard setup can't get into.

Jackhammer attachment
1.7-tonne excavator
Our smallest machine, for backyards and easements a standard excavator can't reach.

Jackhammer attachment
5.5-tonne excavator
The weight and reach for footings, retaining works and larger residential excavation.

820mm wide
C85 T5 tracked dumper
Narrow enough to run spoil out through a side gate instead of through the house.
Five steps, and the access comes first.
The same order on every job, whether it's a footing in a Hills backyard or a stormwater easement on the North Shore.

We'd rather win the job on how long it lasts than on being the cheapest quote in the inbox.
Structural work below ground is expensive to revisit. If you're weighing up three prices on footings, retaining or drainage, ask each one what they're doing about the water.
Work we're proud to point to.
